In the wake of a historically unpredicted election, protesters took to the streets of Dallas waving rainbow banners and hoisting signs reading “not my president” and “make racists afraid again.”
Around 500 people gathered in downtown Dallas tonight to protest the victory of President-elect Donald J. Trump.
The protest started with around 250 protestors at Dealey Plaza. The protesters marched around I–35 back to the plaza.
Aside from blocking streets, the protests were peaceful and didn’t result in any conflict with law enforcement or other citizens.
