Welcome or welcome back, Harvester Bees! We are so very excited to be back with you all and to provide well-rounded, truthful and impactful stories from the No. 1 college resource on campus — The Et Cetera.
The beginning of the semester is often full of settling into new routines, studying for classes and finding new interests. Locating information about everything going on at school can be quite overwhelming. That’s where we — your student reporters — come in, as your one-stop shop for everything Eastfield.
Joining organizations across campus is a great way to make the most of your college experience. The Et Cetera is a place for student voices and interests to be heard.

Pick up a paper across any of our stands on campus, and it is clear to see that the Harvester Bees are more than what meets the eye. Feel free to send us questions or concerns to our email, [email protected], or come by the newsroom and join us!
The paper is for students by students, and the stories we write are reflective of Eastfield as a whole. If there is a perspective you feel needs representing, contact us or come write about it. We are always open to new voices in the newsroom.
This year, in the newsroom we have a mix of returnees and new staff. Our Lab Specialist Nancy Black, and Faculty Advisor Erica Taylor will continue to be our main guiding forces in the newsroom. Returning from last year are Dillon Cade Lindsay, who is our Managing Editor and Photo Editor, Erick Campuzano as a staff writer and Social Media Manager, Ricky Trejo, a photographer and graphic designer, graphic designer Jesus Ramirez, cartoonist Robert Verdiguel, Reggie Miranda-Galvan as the Newsletter Editor and myself as Editor-in-Chief.
Our newest photographers and staff writers include Darius Gill, Cesar Arrendon, Jesse Rodriguez, Ray Sandoval, Clarissa Sandoval, Kylah Moore, Val Macias Valdivia, Ginger Pennington, Hayden Hernañdez, Uriel Moctezuma, Georgina Bolaños, Rafael Ontiveros, Kylah Moore, Daisy Loredo and Asia Turner.
From all of us at The Et Cetera, we are wishing you a great semester and we cannot wait to showcase inspiring, entertaining and impactful news!
